During the interview, Travis shared his views on a love that “lasts forever.” He expressed a desire for a long-lasting relationship, inspired by the “handful of my friends whose parents are still together and still thriving.” This sentiment comes from his own experience, as his parents parted ways after his college graduation. He clarified that he doesn’t believe his parents handled their situation incorrectly, but rather, if a relationship is going to start, “why not try and do it to last forever?” He emphasized that this is not just “in a ‘It’s just for the kids’ aspect.”
Travis also gushed about the similar traits he sees in his mother, Donna, and Taylor. He noted their “kindness, their genuineness, their ability to say hello to everyone in the room,” and their shared “ability to show love and support no matter what.” He also praised their work ethic, pointing out how his mother rose through the ranks at KeyBank and how Taylor has done “the exact same thing” in her career.
