The family rushed Hussain to a private hospital near KDA Chowrangi. However, his relatives reported that he had already succumbed to his injuries en route to the medical facility.
The deceased was the third among his four siblings. The uncle said his nephew was a Hafiz-e-Quran (one who has memorized the Quran) and was also pursuing religious studies to become an aalim (religious scholar).
The grieving family appealed to the government for justice. “We appeal to the government to provide us with justice,” the victim’s uncle pleaded. Hussain’s brother also voiced his anguish, demanding justice for the killing of his younger sibling.
