Teddi Mellencamp has provided a new health update, revealing that her melanoma has spread.
The former “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star shared on Instagram Thursday that scans revealed multiple inoperable tumors in her brain and two tumors in her lungs, all metastases of her melanoma.
In the caption of her post, Mellencamp expressed optimism, stating she feels positive about winning her battle and showcasing a wig to address hair loss.
Melanoma, as defined by the American Cancer Society, is a skin cancer that develops when melanocytes grow uncontrollably.
Mellencamp’s initial melanoma diagnosis was in 2022. Last month, she disclosed an emergency brain surgery to remove tumors.
She detailed her recent experience with severe headaches, leading to hospitalization and the discovery of multiple brain tumors believed to have grown over six months.
Mellencamp concluded her update with a defiant message, quoting Andy Cohen: “With all due… f*** off, cancer!”
