Taylor Swift has voiced her concerns over the growing misuse of artificial intelligence after she became a target of deep fake explicit images. The singer, who has publicly supported Kamala Harris, spoke out about a fabricated video being used to promote Donald Trump’s presidential campaign.
“This really sparked my fears about AI and the dangers of spreading misinformation,” Swift wrote. “It made me realize the need to be transparent about my actual plans for this election as a voter. The best way to fight misinformation is with the truth.”
In January 2024, Swift was reportedly devastated when inappropriate AI-generated images of her went viral on social media, causing outrage among her family, friends, and fans. Some suggested she should consider legal action against those responsible.
Recently, Swift and Travis Kelce were also in the headlines after a “fake” document falsely claimed they would split in September. The document was later proven to be fabricated, prompting Kelce’s PR team to take legal action against the creators.
