Taylor Swift appears to be holding onto memories of her past relationship with Joe Alwyn, even as she continues her record-breaking tour. The singer, currently on the “Eras” tour, wrapped up her Wembley Stadium show by debuting the song “So Long, London.”
Before performing the song, rumored to be inspired by her six-year relationship with Alwyn, the 34-year-old expressed her appreciation for the London audience. “You know, we’ve done a lot of shows on the ‘Eras’ tour, so it’s kind of rare to have a song that I’ve never performed live before, and yet, here we are,” Swift shared.
The “Anti-Hero” hitmaker has been previously accused of writing “So Long, London” for Alwyn while they were still together.
Professionally, Swift is set to continue her tour in North America this fall, with the final stop scheduled in Vancouver, Canada, later in December.
Earlier in June, during a performance in Liverpool, Swift opened up to the crowd about her tour experience, saying, “This has definitely been the most exhausting, all-encompassing but most joyful, most rewarding, most wonderful thing that has ever wandered into my life, this tour.”
