Renowned singer Taylor Swift reportedly suffered a significant loss after facing boos from the crowd during Super Bowl LIX earlier this month in New Orleans.
According to SportsMillions, the Lover singer, who is in a relationship with NFL star Travis Kelce, has lost nearly 150,000 followers on Instagram.
However, in contrast, her boyfriend gained 12,370 followers during the same period, despite losing the February 9 match with his team Kansas City Chiefs against the Philadelphia Eagles.
As reported by the New York Post, the social media statistics of the famous couple were analyzed using Social Blade, an analytics website.
Despite the major follower drop, the Back to December singer still maintains 282 million followers on Instagram, while Kelce now boasts 6.7 million followers on the platform.
Swift’s follower decline came just days after she attended the star-studded Super Bowl event at Caesar’s Superdome.
During the highly anticipated match, Swift appeared on a large jumbotron screen inside the stadium as she sat in a VIP suite.
However, she soon became the target of boos from the crowd, leaving her visibly stunned. She then gave a side-eye before briefly leaning over to address a friend sitting next to her.
