HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) — A suspect has been taken into custody following a multi-agency SWAT operation in the Katy area on Thursday afternoon.
The situation began around 12:46 p.m. in the 2600 block of Maverick Park Lane in west Harris County, where authorities were executing a search and arrest warrant.
Assisting in the operation were the Harris County SWAT team, the Katy Police Department, the Houston Police Department SWAT, and the Texas Department of Public Safety.
Details about the individual being sought or the reasons behind the search remain unclear. However, Sheriff Ed Gonzalez confirmed via social media about 45 minutes later that a suspect was in custody.
