Chief Justice Yahya Afridi of the Supreme Court led a high-level meeting attended by the heads of various Supreme Court departments.
The meeting assessed the progress of the e-filing system’s implementation and deliberated on judicial reforms.
According to the official statement, the Chief Justice underscored the necessity to further improve accessibility, accountability, and transparency within the judicial system.
He articulated that the goal of judicial reforms extends beyond merely reducing the caseload, aiming also to guarantee the prompt delivery of justice to litigants. He remarked, “Litigants are the core stakeholders in the justice system, and treating them with respect enhances the public’s perception of the judiciary.”
The meeting reaffirmed the dedication to reinforcing the legal framework and ensuring streamlined court procedures.
