Russia has issued a strong response to the potential move by the United States to supply advanced Tomahawk cruise missiles to Ukraine.
Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova stated that providing such weapons “will not help” in resolving the conflict. According to foreign media, her comments came after the US defense department, the Pentagon, approved the supply of these long-range missiles to Ukraine.
However, despite the Pentagon’s approval, the matter is not yet finalized. The decision to supply the missiles is reportedly still conditional on final approval from US President Donald Trump.
