HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — A strong cold front moves in overnight bringing a chance for a few showers, much colder temperatures, and really strong winds! Hold onto your hats. A Wind Advisory in effect 3 am to 6 pm Saturday for wind gusts up to 45 mph for much of southeast Texas. Winds will weaken by Sunday morning, but breezy conditions are still expected.
The National Weather Service Houston confirmed a total of seven tornadoes touched down Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning. They were reported in Humble, Kingwood, Montgomery, near IAH Airport, Dayton, and in Spring Branch.

Temperatures will be in the 40s just about all day long. We’ll go from the upper 40s during the morning to the lower 40s during the evening. It’ll be very windy but don’t worry about any rain. Clouds will give away to cool sunshine during the afternoon hours.

Right now it looks like a runner’s delight! It will be chilly at the start of the race with lows in the mid 30s. It will be a bit breezy though so wind chill values will be even colder… around 25 degrees here in Houston. Afternoon highs will warm into the 50s under mostly sunny skies.
