According to Asad Qaisar, the PTI leader, the meeting with the Speaker was attended by members of the People’s Party, and the opposition leader election process will be completed on Thursday. It is worth noting that the Speaker of the National Assembly has invited the opposition parties to submit their proposals for the opposition leader by Monday, January 13, at 3 pm.
In a meeting with the Speaker, the opposition leader election process was discussed, and the proposal submission deadline was set for Monday. The Speaker has stated that the opposition leader’s nomination will be confirmed and counted on January 14, after which the opposition leader’s appointment will be announced.
Meanwhile, the PTI’s Ammar Duggar said in the National Assembly that the request submitted should be confirmed, and the government should issue the notification for the opposition leader. Justice Yousuf Ali Saeed suggested that the government should provide a written response to the matter.
