ISLAMABAD: Prominent YouTuber and TikToker Raja Butt, alongside his colleague Nadeem Naniwala, addressed the media outside the Islamabad High Court (IHC) to clarify widespread reports concerning their recent travel difficulties and legal challenges. Butt categorically denied claims that he had been deported.
Raja Butt asserted that no individual who is deported returns via business class, clarifying instead that his 10-year visa was cancelled. According to him, the reason for the visa cancellation was a request made to the Home Office highlighting the existence of legal cases pending against him in Pakistan. He confirmed his legal team is currently pursuing a review of the visa revocation decision.
Butt stated his intention to remain in Pakistan while the legal process is underway, although he acknowledged the need to travel abroad for visits, affirming Pakistan as his primary home.
Nadeem Naniwala separately clarified that his visa was not revoked as he holds foreign citizenship, but he confirmed facing two registered First Information Reports (FIRs). Both personalities confirmed securing protective bail from the IHC and vowed to proceed with their respective legal battles.
