A shocking and unusual theft has been reported at the Karachi residence of noted Sindhi singer Baidal Masroor, where a large sum of cash was stolen. The incident has caused significant financial distress for the cultural figure and raises serious questions about public safety.
Police officials confirmed that the singer had recently sold a plot for 70 lakh rupees. Baidal Masroor informed the police that he had divided the entire amount into two portions and stored the cash hidden in a container inside his home for safekeeping.
The crime involved an extraordinary sequence of events that has baffled investigators. Authorities confirmed that the first theft of Rs 30 lakh occurred on November 12, and in a remarkably brazen act, the remaining Rs 40 lakh was stolen the very next day, November 13.
Police officials stated that a thorough investigation into all angles of the theft at Baidal Masroor’s residence is currently underway. The Crime Scene Unit has collected physical evidence, and sophisticated forensic methods, including geo-fencing, are being actively employed to trace the culprits responsible for this highly unusual crime.
