Karachi, Pakistan – In a significant development, the Registrar of the Sindh High Court has issued a letter to the Secretary of the Sindh Home Department, following a directive from Chief Justice Sindh High Court to form a judicial commission to investigate the tragic incident at Gl Plaza in Karachi. The letter from the Registrar states that the Chief Justice has reviewed the letter seeking the establishment of the commission and has instructed the Secretary to send a TOR (Terms of Reference) to the Sindh High Court for the formation of the commission.
This move comes as the Sindh government has announced the formation of a judicial commission to probe into the tragic incident at Gl Plaza, which has left several people dead and injured. The incident has sparked widespread outrage and condemnation, with many calling for a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding the tragedy.
Meanwhile, the Pakistan Army’s Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) has stated that the sponsored terrorists of Fidayeen-e-Hind have attempted to destabilize the peace in Balochistan. The Minister of Interior, Senator Musa Naghvi, has claimed that the attacks in Balochistan have been orchestrated by India and vowed that Pakistan will defeat them just like they did last time.
In a related development, the Mayor of Karachi, Murtaza Wahab, has faced questions from citizens about the deplorable condition of the city’s roads, with one citizen asking him if there is any remedy for the situation. The Additional Deputy Commissioner of Ladhra has confirmed that 29 people were injured in the incident.
