The debate continued, with MQM leader Dr. Fozia expressing concern over the price of wheat, stating that it is often sold at a loss due to the lack of timely pricing. Syed Nasir Shah responded by stating that the Sindh government has taken steps to protect the interests of small farmers and that the price of wheat has been fixed at a level that is higher than the one in Punjab.
Meanwhile, police arrested a notorious land grabber in Mirpur Mathelo, who was involved in organizing a jirga to settle disputes over land. The Minister of Interior, Rana Sanaullah, ordered the arrest of the remaining suspects and the recovery of the stolen mobile phones.
