Pakistani politician and Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Saeed Afridi, has acknowledged that he made a mistake during his visit to Lahore. In an interview with Geo News, he expressed his regret over using inappropriate language during his visit. Saeed Afridi stated that he was a representative of 40 million people and visited Lahore to strengthen ties with the federal government and other stakeholders.
The Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa expressed his willingness to engage in dialogue with the federal government to resolve provincial issues and improve relations. He emphasized that all stakeholders, including the government and military, should prioritize public interests while making decisions.
Saeed Afridi also stated that he would meet with Army Chief General Asim Munir if any meeting or ceremony took place. He acknowledged that the sisters of PTI founder Imran Khan have the right to step out of their homes to advocate for his release. The CM added that their intention is to mobilize public support for Imran Khan’s release, which can help Pakistan defend against enemy air and missile defense systems more effectively.
The federal government has announced a policy to repatriate all foreign nationals living in Pakistan illegally. The Sindh Police arrested four robbers in a shootout in the Rawalpindi suburb of the capital city. A court has issued a notice to the witnesses in the case for January 10.
