Member of the National Assembly Sher Afzal Marwat stated on Wednesday that Ali Amin Gandapur might be removed from his position as the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Expressing his views on the Samaa TV program “Nadeem Malik Live,” Marwat said, “Ali Amin Gandapur got his opportunity after I was removed from the party.”
“Ali Amin Gandapur is not favored by Bushra Bibi and Aleema Khan. Even I was not in their good graces,” Marwat remarked.
Marwat expressed, “It would have been more advantageous for the PTI to participate in the National Security Committee meeting.”
“The decision to abstain from the National Security Committee was made by the unelected individuals within the PTI,” he said.
He stated, “There was no necessity to involve the political committee.”
Marwat asserted, “The PTI should pursue reconciliation.”
“The decision was altered following a social media campaign advocating for a boycott of the National Security Committee meeting,” he explained.
Regarding Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, Marwat said, “Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari presented the PTI with a chance to save face. The PTI should accept Bilawal Bhutto’s offer and engage in dialogue.”
Marwat said, “Ali Amin Gandapur has played no political role in the PTI protest. Nobody is present in the PTI that can gather people at the time of the protest.”
“The PTI leadership will likely postpone any potential protest,” he predicted.
Marwat concluded, “Ali Amin Gandapur is not acceptable, in the same way Usman Buzdar and Mahmood Khan were not.”
