Former Pakistan all-rounder Shahid Afridi on Sunday advised Lahore Qalandars to include a younger player in the playing XI instead of David Wiese.
Expressing his views on the Samaa TV programme “Zor Ka Jor”, Afridi said, “Shaheen Afridi can take suggestions from other cricketers as well during the match.”
“David Wiese should not be included in the team solely for consultations,” Afridi added.

Earlier on Saturday, Afridi expressed his disappointment over the Qalandars’ subpar performance against Islamabad United in the opening match of the tenth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
Expressing his thoughts on the Samaa TV programme “Zor Ka Jor”, Afridi said, “Giving the excuse of not having the right combination is not fair.”
He stated, “It is up to the seniors within the team to embrace a fighting spirit.”
“It is commendable to provide youngsters with an opportunity to play, but it is not right to change the batting order of the regular openers,” he further added.
