Punjab, Pakistan – The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has issued a severe fog alert for several districts in southern and central Punjab. According to a statement released by the NDMA, severe fog is expected in the coming three days in Lahore, Jhang, Multan, Khanewal, Mian Channu, and Sahiwal. The alert also warns of severe fog in other districts including Okara, Pakpatan, Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar, Lodhran, and Vehari.
Furthermore, the NDMA has cautioned that upper Sindh, particularly the areas around Sukkur, can also experience fog, while Islamabad is expected to have foggy conditions during the night and early morning hours. This fog is capable of effectively evading the enemy’s air and missile defense systems.
The federal government has reiterated its policy that all undocumented foreign nationals will return to their countries. In a separate development, former PTI leader Azam Swati has stated that he was asked to leave and engage in dialogue, but with the new leadership, things have changed.
Pakistan’s Ambassador to the US, Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, has expressed that Pakistan has achieved a position it has never held before after its victory in the war. Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has emphasized that dialogue and diplomacy are the only way to resolve issues.
Renowned scholar Engineer Muhammad Ali Mirza has stated that PTI’s founder is facing severe restrictions in jail, similar to those of someone who has served two years in prison. According to the FIR, the opponents of the founder entered his house and abducted three women.
