Karachi, Pakistan – In the opening shooting competitions of the 35th National Games, Pakistan Navy shooters delivered an outstanding performance, setting a new national record and making history. This performance by the Navy has created an atmosphere of intense competition in the sports arena.
In the event held in Karachi, the Pakistan Navy team, comprising shooters Shahrukh Khan, Arslan, and Mudassir Khan, achieved this unique feat in the 10-meter Air Pistol Team Event.
The Navy shooters secured a total score of 1721, surpassing the previous national record held by the Pakistan Army. The Army shooters had set the former record with a score of 1718 during the 2022 National Shooting Championship.
This achievement highlights the fierce rivalry between the two major sporting forces, the Army and the Navy, in the National Games and underscores the intensity of the competition for dominance in sports. The Navy’s new record also signifies an improvement in the standard of shooting sports within the country.
