In a recent candid interview with ELLE, the music producer Benny Blanco discussed a wide array of subjects.
During this conversation, he also opened up about the profound influence his fiancée has had on his outlook.
When asked about the most inspirational woman he has collaborated with, Blanco’s answer was definitive, stating, “Most recently, it became Selena.”
For those unaware, Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco announced their engagement in December 2024 after dating for over a year.
He further elaborated, “When you’re recording someone, it’s like a therapy session.”
“You say, ‘Hey, how you doing?’ They say, ‘Oh, I’m doing great.”’ And you say, ‘No, how you really doing?’ They go, ‘No, I’m doing good’ And then you say, ‘How you really doing’ And then they’re like, ‘I hate this! I want to do this. I want to do that,’” he continued.
“You get deep with someone, and you never know how it’s going to go,” Benny shared, adding that his relationship with Selena has transformed his understanding of interpersonal dynamics.
“I learned from Selena that when you have patience and love for another person, it makes everything so much easier,” he revealed before transitioning to a different topic.
