Khuzdar, Pakistan – In a swift and decisive operation, security forces have driven terrorists out of Khuzdar, forcing them to retreat. According to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), 15 to 20 terrorists, backed by Indian support, had been carrying out terrorist activities in the region.
The terrorists had targeted the city police station and two banks, resulting in the theft of 3.4 million rupees. However, the security forces responded promptly and forced the terrorists to retreat. In the clearance operation, three separate encounters took place, resulting in the killing of 12 militants. The terrorists’ attempt to besiege the police station was foiled.
The ISPR stated that a search operation is currently underway to eliminate any remaining terrorists in the area. The operation is part of the government’s determination to eradicate terrorism, and the security forces will continue to work tirelessly to ensure the safety and security of the nation.
The Sindh Chief Minister has directed the Inspector General of Police (IGP) to submit a daily report on the progress of the case. The incident has been condemned by the Chief Minister of Balochistan, who has ordered a thorough investigation into the matter.
