Pakistan’s National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has secured the largest ever recovery of over 4 trillion rupees from the national exchequer in the country’s history. The central accused in the Koohistan mega corruption scandal, Qaiser Iqbal, used his frontman Mubtaz Khan, a dumper driver, to collect the massive amount of 4 billion and 50 crore rupees from the national treasury. According to Chairman NAB, Lieutenant General (retd) Najeeb Ahmed, Pakistan can repay all its debts through the recovered amount. The NAB sources stated that the recovered amount was in the form of cash, properties, and vehicles.
