According to family sources, Sajjad Mehdi was immediately shifted to the hospital after suffering a heart attack, but he could not recover despite medical assistance. Sajjad Mehdi served as a Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) in the Police Department and was known for his professional integrity and public service. His funeral prayers will be offered in Lahore today after the afternoon prayer. The family has appealed for prayers for his elevation.
