Mumbai: Soha Ali Khan, actress and sister of the renowned Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan, spoke openly in a podcast interview about her brother’s professional and personal ups and downs. Soha acknowledged that throughout his extensive career, Saif Ali Khan has experienced not only professional successes but also numerous setbacks and personal difficulties.
Soha Ali Khan, daughter of former Indian cricket captain Nawab Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi and veteran actress Sharmila Tagore, mentioned that her brother’s professional career is long and has seen both victories and failures.
Soha also touched upon the unusual incident of a knife attack on Saif Ali Khan in January 2025, an attack that left him injured and hospitalized. She recalled, “I did not understand what happened at the time. It was a sudden and unexpected attack, which was due to a security lapse.” Soha speculated that the attacker or burglar might not have realized whose house they had entered in the dark.
Defending Saif Ali Khan’s standing, Soha stated that ups and downs are a part of everyone’s life. While some of his films were hits and others were flops, she emphasized that she has always seen Saif as “someone people are excited to work with,” recognizing him as a versatile actor. Soha concluded that the fluctuations in his life were normal, and he continues to perform very well in the film industry.
