Renowned Pakistani actress Saba Qamar has revealed that she faced health challenges as a result of the intense emotional demands of her latest role in the drama serial, “Case Number 9.”
The drama, a 7th Sky Entertainment production airing on Geo TV, is currently gathering significant attention for its powerful and unique subject matter. The story concept was notably written by prominent journalist Shahzeb Khanzada.
In the series, Saba Qamar portrays “Sehr,” the lead character who is a survivor of sexual assault. The actress shared that filming the deeply emotional and traumatic scenes required for the role was not easy and subsequently impacted her personal health.
Despite the difficult nature of the character, Qamar’s “powerful performance” has captivated audiences and earned her widespread acclaim from within the entertainment industry.
During a recent television show, fellow actors praised her dedication. Senior actress Atiqa Odho commended Saba Qamar for her “natural acting,” while actor Shamoon Abbasi referred to her as a “superb actress.”
