Buckingham Palace, on behalf of King Charles, released a statement expressing the true feelings of Kate Middleton and Prince William after the royal couple attended a garden party at the palace recently.
The palace shared photographs of Kate and William accompanied by a warm message on X, formerly Twitter. The tweet from the palace stated, “This afternoon, The Prince and Princess of Wales attended a Garden Party at Buckingham Palace, on behalf of The King.” It further added, “Their Royal Highnesses were joined in the gardens by The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, as well as The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester.”
Historically, Garden Parties replaced presentation parties attended by debutantes and have evolved into a significant means of recognizing and rewarding public service.
Reacting to King Charles’s sweet gesture, Kate Middleton and Prince William promptly reposted the palace’s tweet. The royal couple also released their own photos and videos from the event, commenting, “Lovely to meet so many inspiring guests from all over the UK at today’s Garden Party!”
Princess Eugenie, Zara Tindall, Prince Edward, and his wife Duchess Sophie were also present, showing their support for Prince William and Kate Middleton. According to a report by GB News, Princess Eugenie and Zara Tindall made a public display of unity alongside the Prince and Princess of Wales as they attended the Buckingham Palace garden party on Tuesday evening, which was hosted by the future king.
Commenting on the Prince and Princess of Wales’s post, one royal fan enthused, “Your kindness and empathy just shine through! Such a wonderful couple, we are so lucky to have the Prince and Princess of Wales!” Another admirer remarked, “This is what a classy couple looks like…not just in looks, but in the teamwork as a couple they are, and you feel the genuineness from them!”
