“Chickpeas Help to Build Body Mass,” Says Renowned Herbalist
Renowned herbalist Dr. Bilquis shared that consuming a handful of roasted chickpeas daily can help sharpen the mind.
She explained on the Samaa TV program “Subh Ka Samaa Madeha Kay Sath,” “In Pakistan, we are fortunate to have quality food items available at food stalls at reasonable prices, even though such items are often expensive in the market.”
Dr. Bilquis also mentioned, “Eating roasted chickpeas daily helps in building body mass as chickpeas are rich in nutrients.”
However, she cautioned that excessive consumption of roasted chickpeas is not good for health. “Overuse of anything can be harmful. For instance, we breathe air into our lungs, but when that air turns into a tsunami, it can become unhealthy for us.”
