Rihanna and A$AP Rocky are overjoyed after winning a major legal battle in court.
On Thursday, February 20, reports confirmed that the Praise the Lord rapper, A$AP Rocky, has been found not guilty in the 2021 gun assault case, securing a major victory after a four-week trial.
Following the verdict, Rocky made a surprising promise to his lead attorney, Joe Tacopina, who helped him win the case.
Tacopina revealed that A$AP Rocky and Rihanna are considering naming their “next child” after him.
“They hugged me and said, ‘Listen, our next baby—A$AP Joe.’ I said, ‘I’m going to hold you to that!’” the lawyer shared, adding, “Rocky loves me, and we’re family now.”
Recalling the emotional moment, Tacopina said:
“Rocky grabbed me and said, ‘Joe, I know how hard you fought for me. I appreciate everything you’ve done.’”
Throughout the trial, Rihanna stood firmly by Rocky’s side. When the not-guilty verdict was announced, she broke down in tears of joy.
