Rebel Wilson has just now revealed details about a significant accident that occurred on the set of her upcoming film, Bride Hard.
The Hollywood actress stars in the movie alongside Anna Camp, Anna Chlumsky, Gigi Zumbado, and Sherry Cola.
The official description of the movie states: “When a mercenary group takes a lavish wedding hostage, they have no idea what they are in for as the Maid of Honor is actually a secret agent ready to rain hell-fire upon anyone who would ruin her best friend’s wedding.”
In an interview with Access Hollywood, Wilson candidly shared that she underwent a plastic surgery procedure as a direct consequence of the accident.
Referring to a fight scene in the movie, the Pitch Perfect actress explained, “In a fight scene, a gun accidentally got whacked across my face.”
Recalling the incident, she continued, “It was just a freak accident, and my nose got split open, so I left set. It was really my last night of shooting. I was like, ‘How unlucky can I be?’”
“I was freaking out. They take an ambulance and they have to call a plastic surgeon, because if they didn’t, I would have been permanently disfigured.”
Before concluding, Rebel Wilson told the outlet, “We got the plastic surgeon, they did all the stitches, and you can’t tell now, really, you can’t tell.”
Bride Hard is scheduled for release in cinemas on June 20, 2025.
