As reported by BBC, the French striker netted three goals at Santiago Bernabeu on Wednesday, bringing an end to Manchester City’s Champions League journey.
Pep Guardiola’s team suffered yet another crushing defeat, struggling with poor performance due to several injuries throughout the season.
Mbappé showed no mercy against the English team, making his way across the field with sharp movements and blistering pace, proving too much for City’s defense to handle.
The No. 9 had faced heavy criticism from Real Madrid fans for scoring only three goals in his first 11 matches since joining the Spanish giants on a free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain last June.
However, Mbappé has now silenced his critics, proving his full adaptation to Real Madrid by scoring 27 goals across all competitions this season.
