Star leg-spinner Rashid Khan is set to lead a formidable Afghanistan squad for the upcoming tri-nation series, scheduled to begin on August 29 in the United Arab Emirates.
According to the details, the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) has unveiled a 17-member squad for the upcoming series in the Gulf nation. The team is a mix of veteran and emerging players. Former captain Mohammad Nabi is expected to add significant value to the side.
Furthermore, Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Ibrahim Zadran have established themselves as a strong opening pair for the team over the past three years. The spin-heavy Afghanistan team will aim to challenge their opponents in both the tri-nation series and the Asia Cup 2025.
