HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — Some much needed rainfall came down across most of SE Texas Sunday morning and the rain chances are not over yet! Rain chances are expected to continue through the first half of the work week.
Monday will start off partly sunny with some patchy fog. We’ll stay mostly dry. Rain chances increase Tuesday and Wednesday.
What can we expect this week?
We will start off with an active weather pattern with rain chances through Wednesday. Rain chances ramp up Tuesday as a strong disturbance moves through. Another chance for widespread rain comes on Wednesday as a front moves south through the area. We dry out behind the front leaving us with a lot of sunshine for the end of the work week.
What are we expecting for Memorial Day weekend?
The weather looks gorgeous over the weekend with mostly sunny skies on Saturday and Sunday. A little more cloud cover moves in Monday but overall the weather looks great for outdoor activities. Highs should top out in the upper 80s/low 90s.
