HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — Over the next two weeks, experience a rich variety of Latin flavors during Latin Restaurant Weeks. The event features a wide range of eateries, including Cuban restaurants, coffee shops, Mexican food, and much more.
At the Post HTX, don’t miss the immersive “Solar Dust by Quiet Ensemble” laser show, blending light and sound. Originally exhibited in Austria, this state-of-the-art show is making its U.S. debut and will run until October.
On Sunday, Be More Pacific Filipino Kitchen and Bar is hosting its annual Lumpia eating contest. The event, aimed at fostering community and supporting local small businesses, features eight contestants, mostly from local businesses. Last year’s winner, Seaside Poke, holds the record with 60 lumpias. The contest begins at 3 p.m. on Sunday at 506 Yale Street.
