Pakistan has witnessed significant developments in recent days, with a major police operation in Rajanpur netting 41 dacoits, including their leader, after they surrendered with arms. The overall number of surrendered dacoits has reached 95. According to Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Muhammad Irfan, the arrested dacoits include notorious individuals such as Attallah Pat, Gora Omrani, Dadu Bagiani, and Wahab Lund, who were on the government’s hit list with a bounty of over Rs 1 crore on their heads.
These dacoits were wanted in serious cases, including murder, kidnapping, and robbery, and were involved in the testimonies of police officials. The DIG assured that all the arrested dacoits will be punished according to the law.
During the operation, 21 dacoit hideouts were destroyed with the help of drone technology. The spokesperson for the Gilgit-Baltistan Development Authority, Saif-ur-Rehman, said that no tourists were trapped or harmed in the operation in Gilgit.
Meanwhile, efforts are ongoing to clear the debris from the gutted building of the Gul Plaza in Karachi. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Senator Barrister Ali Zafar stated that the country has a debt of over 80 trillion rupees.

The police surgeon in Karachi, Dr. Samia Tariq, said that 71 bodies or human remains have been recovered from the site of the Gul Plaza tragedy. The government has produced an initial report on the ownership of the land on which the Gul Plaza was built.
