Lahore, Pakistan: A lady police constable was arrested in Larkana for allegedly possessing narcotics. The constable was subsequently suspended and a case was registered against her at the Women’s Police Station. According to the police, 150 grams of ice were recovered from the constable during a raid on her residence.
Interestingly, a substantial amount of narcotics was also recovered from the constable’s mother, weighing 2 kilograms. The high court has issued notices to the Punjab government, the Secretary of Livestock, the Secretary of Local Government, and others.
Meanwhile, Saeed Afridi, a senior leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), claimed that he had prior knowledge that the number of workers gathered in Quaid-e-Azam Park would not be substantial. He, therefore, chose to address the public through the streets.
A meteorological department official, Saadia Javed, stated that the temperature in the region is expected to range between 8°C and 10°C, with a maximum temperature of 24°C.
