The Punjab Home Department has issued security directives for the Martyrdom Day of Hazrat Ali (RA), ensuring comprehensive security arrangements across the province.
According to the notification, security measures will be reinforced on the 21st of Ramadan, with additional personnel deployed at mosques, seminaries, imambargahs, shrines, processions, and religious gatherings. Authorities have been instructed to implement stringent security protocols for mourning processions, majalis, and public congregations.
The provincial home department has also directed strict enforcement of restrictions on the possession and display of firearms throughout Punjab.
Furthermore, speakers and religious leaders have been cautioned against delivering objectionable or inflammatory speeches targeting any sect.
Authorities have been ordered to enforce the Punjab Sound System Regulation Act 2015, with strict action against any violations.
