Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz visited a flood relief camp in Multan and assured the affected people of her government’s full support. According to details that emerged on Wednesday, the Chief Minister reviewed the health, rescue, and other service counters at the camp during her visit. She expressed satisfaction with the overall arrangements, including the cleanliness.
CM Maryam visited the Bela relief camp, where she met with women and children, listened to their problems, and promised that action would be taken to restore their homes. She spoke with the children, gave them chocolates and biscuits, and personally helped them put on shoes. Essential items and clothing were also distributed among the women.
During her visit, the Chief Minister expressed displeasure over the closure of shops and requested an immediate report on the matter. She directed that her visit should not cause any inconvenience to the public.
