PTI’s Chairman Imran Khan Explains Siding with the Ruling Party
In a recent statement, PTI’s Chairman Imran Khan clarified the situation surrounding his party’s decision to side with the ruling party. When asked about the implications of this move, Khan stated that if talks have reached the stage of involving the five major parties, then it should not be understood in a particular manner.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Salmans Akram Raja was questioned about PTI’s Chairman Imran Khan officially being on the side of the ruling party. A journalist asked, “If Imran Khan is officially on the side of the ruling party, who will be the new chairman?” Khan clarified that the party’s chairman is only the founder of PTI and not anyone else. He further stated that the treatment of PTI by the Election Commission is like being subjected to the code of coercion.
