In a separate incident, a 25-year-old youth lost his life in a shootout with robbers in the Mahmoudabad Kashmir Colony area of Karachi. Five people died, and 27 were injured in a bus accident in the Talagang area of Chakwal, where a passenger bus fell into a ditch. The police in Peshawar have launched a crackdown on land mafia, usurers, and robbers on a large scale.
