Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Sher Afzal Marwat on Saturday revealed details about his expulsion from the party.
Speaking exclusively to Samaa TV, Marwat questioned his removal, saying, “Would it be appropriate if the PTI founder decides to expel me from the party based on spoon-feeding by a few individuals?”
He stated, “I had demanded an audit of the payments made to digital media and lawyers from the party funds.”
Marwat further added, “I have had issues with Salman Akram Raja for a long time. What exactly bothers Salman Akram Raja about me?”
He alleged, “Propaganda machines were set up at the behest of Salman Akram Raja.”
“Imran Khan Did Not Expel Me from the Party”
A few days ago, while speaking on Samaa TV, Marwat said, “I am deferring my stance regarding the party for the time being. PTI founder Imran Khan has not made the decision to expel me from the party.”
He added, “Some specific individuals who meet Imran Khan are involved in my expulsion.”
“The PTI founder cannot make such decisions,” Marwat insisted.
He clarified, “If there is a dispute, a political party does not usually become a party to it. However, in my case, PTI has been a party from day one.”
