RAWALPINDI: Sources within the Adiala Jail administration have categorically denied circulating reports suggesting that the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is likely to be relocated from the facility. The sources maintained that there is no possibility of transferring the high-profile prisoner elsewhere at this time, and the news circulating in the media is pure speculation.
The jail officials confirmed that the PTI founder remains in Adiala Jail, where his security, dietary needs, and medical care are being fully looked after according to protocol.
Regarding the inmate’s health, sources disclosed that a five-member team of expert doctors from PIMS Hospital recently conducted a thorough medical check-up, affirming that the PTI founder’s health is completely stable and satisfactory.
This denial comes in response to earlier reports that the government was considering transferring the PTI founder from Adiala Jail. Jail sources clearly stated that no such move is currently under official consideration.
Meanwhile, government officials continue to express concern over the protests and political maneuvering surrounding the facility. Iftikhar Wali, Coordinator to the Prime Minister, stated that PTI is actively pursuing an agenda to destabilize the country and attempting to sow chaos and unrest under the guise of protest.
