The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) decided on Saturday not to resume negotiations with the government.
Expressing his views on Samaa TV, PTI leader Barrister Ali Zafar said, “We have already stated that negotiations with the government have ended.”
“It is up to the government to make a statement on the negotiations or not. We have sought nothing from the government,” Zafar added.
He further stated, “If the government accepts our demands in written form, then we can present the matter before PTI founder Imran Khan.”
“The PTI founder can be consulted on whether to restart the negotiation process with the government or not,” he elaborated.
The PTI leader emphasized, “It is the right of the former prime minister to write an open letter highlighting the flaws.”
Zafar added, “The former prime minister is advising solutions to the prevailing issues.”
“Imran Khan has said that he will continue to exercise his right to write open letters,” he concluded.
