Tel Aviv, Israel – Another Israeli soldier involved in the military operations in the Gaza Strip has tragically taken his own life, fueling growing concerns over the psychological stress and mental health crisis plaguing soldiers who serve in combat zones.
According to reports from Israeli media, the deceased soldier has been identified as Raphael Barzani, who participated in the Israeli military’s actions in Gaza.
The media report regrettably disclosed that the Israeli soldier was suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). This is a severe psychological condition triggered by the traumatic experiences of war and violence.
As per the report, this disorder severely disrupts the affected individual’s daily life, manifesting as painful flashbacks, intrusive memories, or nightmares related to past events. This suicide incident highlights a silent crisis within the Israeli military, where the burden of combat experiences is psychologically overwhelming many soldiers.
