Dallas:* Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilayhi Raji’un. Sohail Ali Khan, brother-in-law of Nasir Siddiqui, CEO of Hiba Entertainment, tragically passed away after sustaining severe head injuries from an accidental fall in the bathroom. He was laid to rest at a local Muslim cemetery in Dallas, with a large number of community members attending the funeral to offer their condolences.
In memory of the late Sohail Ali Khan, the Siddiqui brothers—Adnan, Adil, and Nasir Siddiqui—organized a Qur’an recitation, Fatiha Khawani and Niaaz. The event was attended by prominent figures from the entertainment industry, including TV and film stars Zeba Shahnaz and Aslam Sheikh, as well as notable personalities from the Pakistani-American community such as former PTV producer Furqan Haider and Raja Zahid Akhtar Khanzada CEO of The Jago Times Group of Publications. Kamal Siddiqui The attendees expressed their deep sorrow and extended their condolences to the Siddiqui family over this sudden and tragic loss.
During the Fatiha Khuwani , the Imam of “Noori Mosque” Plano delivered a short sermon, drawing from the “Qur’an and Hadiths”. He reminded the mourners that life is temporary and that one should strive to do good deeds in this world to attain greatness in the hereafter. He emphasized that after death, the opportunity for earning rewards and sins is closed, but charitable deeds and leaving behind a righteous child continue to bring rewards. He also noted that the gathering to pray for Sohail Ali Khan’s soul and pay tribute to his memory is itself a noble act, and through these prayers, Allah may forgive his sins.
On this somber occasion, Adnan Siddiqui Adil Siddiqui, and Nasir Siddiqui, expressed their heartfelt gratitude to those who came to offer their condolences and for supporting them during this difficult time.
