US President Donald Trump’s granddaughter has introduced a clothing brand that carries her name, with promotional photographs featuring the teen in a $130 sweatshirt taken on the White House grounds.
Don Jr.’s daughter was seen standing near the 79-year-old Republican on Friday, wearing one of her brand’s pullovers as he addressed reporters outside the White House.
“This is Kai, by the way,” he informed the Washington press corps, introducing his 18-year-old granddaughter, who had previously delivered a brief speech at last year’s Republican National Convention.
The pair, both avid golfers, subsequently boarded a helicopter together to attend the Ryder Cup golf competition. The eldest of the US president’s grandchildren, who is expected to join the University of Miami’s golf team next year, announced the launch of her clothing line on social media on Thursday.
The website selling the brand’s $130 sweatshirts—plain crew necks featuring her initials on the chest and her signature on the cuff—displays photos of her posing in the apparel while on the White House property.
Kai’s parents are divorced, and her mother is reportedly in a relationship with golf icon Tiger Woods. Unlike previous presidents, the current US president is known for marketing a wide array of self-branded merchandise. The billionaire is frequently accused of leveraging his official position to advance the Trump family’s financial interests, especially in sectors like real estate and cryptocurrencies.
