President Asif Ali Zardari met Chinese President Xi Jinping on Wednesday, where both leaders discussed the positive trajectory of bilateral relations and reaffirmed their mutual support on core issues of national interest.

President Zardari, currently on a five-day visit to China, met President Xi at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. The two leaders discussed the growing bilateral relationship, regional and international issues, and opportunities to expand cooperation through high-level exchanges.

Naqvi mentioned that Pakistan would be purchasing advanced technology and equipment for its police from China. Furthermore, discussions were held about increasing cooperation between the Beijing police and Islamabad police.
