KARACHI: In a deeply disturbing yet significant development in Karachi’s Old City Area, police successfully arrested a suspect allegedly involved in the sexual abuse of minors. The arrest occurred within the jurisdiction of the Eidgah Police Station, bringing a halt to the predatory activities of the accused.
According to police officials, the suspect has been identified as Haider Ali. He was apprehended “red-handed” while committing sexual assault against a 12-year-old child.
During the initial phase of the investigation, the suspect confessed to a terrifying pattern of abuse. Haider Ali admitted that he would habitually lure vulnerable young children by tempting them with treats or gifts, misleading them to isolated areas, and subsequently subjecting them to sexual abuse. He confessed to assaulting several children using this deceptive method.
A formal case (FIR) has been registered against the arrested suspect, Haider Ali, at the Eidgah Police Station. Law enforcement is now conducting a more in-depth investigation to identify all potential victims and determine the full extent of this heinous crime.
