Prayer Gatherings Held in North Texas in Memory of Islamabad Massacre Victims

Dallas, Texas: Today, after Jummah prayers, several mosques in North Texas held prayer gatherings in memory of the victims of the Islamabad massacre. The gatherings paid tribute to the innocent lives lost in the tragic event. PTI leaders stated that this horrific incident has left a profound impact on people around the world.
Prayer services were held at the Islamic Center of Frisco, Islamic Center of Irving, Madinah Masjid in Carrollton, Makkah Masjid in Garland, Islamic Association of Collin County, Colleyville Masjid, Watauga Masjid, and the Islamic Center of Keller. Additionally, a Ghaibana Namaz-e-Janazah (funeral prayer in absentia) was offered at Makkah Masjid Garland after Jummah prayers. A large number of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) supporters and community members attended these gatherings. The events aimed to honor the innocent lives lost and pray for the injured and their families.
The prayers were led by local religious leaders, who supplicated for the elevation of the martyrs’ ranks in the afterlife and strength and patience for their grieving families.
Nadeem Zaman, the Coordinator of PTI North America Region, expressed his gratitude to the community for coming together on this important occasion. He stated that these events reflect the unity of the Pakistani-American community and their commitment to justice, peace, and preserving the memory of those who lost their lives in the Islamabad tragedy.
