Post Malone’s former fiancée is seeking full physical custody of their young daughter.
Hee Sung “Jamie” Park submitted legal documents to the Los Angeles Superior Court on Wednesday, requesting primary physical custody of the couple’s two-and-a-half-year-old daughter, who is currently being referred to by her initials, DDP.
The filing also indicates that Park is seeking joint legal custody and is reportedly open to granting Malone visitation rights, according to People Magazine. Additionally, she is requesting that the 29-year-old Grammy winner cover her legal expenses in the custody matter.
The legal documents also included a standard statement, noting, “The court may make orders for support of the children and issue an earnings assignment without further notice to either party.”
The former couple welcomed their daughter in May 2022, just weeks after publicly announcing they were expecting a child. The 29-year-old rapper notably skipped a formal birth announcement, subtly mentioning the happy news during a conversation with Howard Stern in June 2022.
Since then, Malone has largely kept his personal life private, with the identity of his ex-fiancée only becoming public knowledge amidst this custody dispute.
In March, Malone was seen out with a woman identified as his new girlfriend, Christy Lee, without any prior announcement of a split from Park.
According to TMZ, the rapper called off his engagement with Park towards the end of 2024 and has been reportedly dating Lee “since at least the beginning of this year.” Just two weeks prior to the custody news, Malone and Lee were photographed dressed up for a night out at Beefbar in Paris.
Lee is a student at Parsons School of Design and has gained experience working with various celebrities during an internship with celebrity stylist Kristina Askerova.
